happy weekend

i had my first crack in entertaining guests in baguio...  what a joy :)

first night --  upon arriving, dinner by candle light...


for dessert:  fresh baguio strawberries (so big right?  and sweet too.  only P100 a kilo) + whipped cream + vargas butter cake = perfect makeshift strawberry shortcake!


barbecue on the second day...


complete with grilled corn!


night cap: hot chocolate under the stars.
