last we spoke, you were in some area for a day to acclimatize in prep for a 3-day trek.

anyhoo, took better photos of the omotesando bike racks i was talking about.


they can used as benches, too.  clever right?

bike rack bench

sis, i'm not sure how far along you're going with your bike advocacy -- but i think you should take a look at this...


this is a photo i took of railings along the sidewalks of omotesando/harajuku area of tokyo.  

they serve as both a bike rack and a bench... quite clever!

some of the coolest buildings are found in tokyo...  most of the cool ones are retail buildings.  like these ones along ginza (the 5th ave of tokyo)...

inside omotesando hills, a mall that ramps up (kinda like the guggenheim)...
