yey for progress!

an uber talented friend dropped by and joined our 'usual suspects' cocktails...

guess who?  here's a clue:  these are the shirts he gave us:

can you make out what's on the shirt?  looks familiar?

it's this!

he's responsible for the super cool interactive sculptures along bhs.

just bhs, not the ones in serendra.... i've always been bothered by this one -- eeky:

anyhoo, he was talking about the plans for bhs.  it will go on for another 500 meters...  more shops, more gardens, more art!

at the end of a stretch is a shangri-la

and even more exciting, a 'mind museum' -- where artists are invited to create "scientific works" -- sorta like an exploratorium meets the moma i guess!!!

cool!!!!!

pockets of development

had dinner with a guy who works for SM's hamilo coast.

wow, what a project.  the coast is oh, but 5,800 hectares along the batangas coastline -- with 13 coves, one of which is 'pico de loro', claimed to be the BEST beach in batangas.

they have a 20-year plan which includes an airport (!) -- and better yet, they're working with WWF to make sure they're developing greenly.

they're also actually building a coastal HIGHWAY that goes all the way from SM MOA to the area -- bypassing tagaytay.  how cool is that?  so it'll take a li'l over an hour to get to nasugbu.

yey for progress!
