first project

hey sis! right after my trip and my "recovery" eating binge (which you seemed to have done on your trip too!), i had to go straight to work on my first project for the year. event styling for a wedding :) after several months of planning (which included our trips to dapitan and evangelista!), the day finally arrived!

i was really happy with how everything turned out :) the couple loved it! and their friends did too. definitely not your typical wedding!! here are some of my photos of the church and reception. hopefully, i'll get better photos from the wedding photographers to include in my portfolio :)

luminaries lined the aisle in the church and surrounded the church's exterior and pathways....

hanging paper pompom flowers (with the flying toys!) floated above the two long tables at the reception ....

centerpieces included favorite travel mementos of the couple, personal "polaroid" photos, blue flowers in a vintage jam jar, blue fish in a bowl, lots of candles and some paper planes and boats scattered around....

p.s. their wedding car was a cool 1967 land rover (nothing to do with me though- hehe)

"the wedding project" (ocular)

YES YOU SHOULD!!! hehe

just got back from tagaytay for the wedding project ocular....first stop, Sonya's Garden for the reception... needless to say, it looked beautiful as is. i loved the chandeliers! but i do think my poofy paper flowers and "flying men" would look great in it. (hihi)

i want to do something about these though....

can you see what i tried out? look closer... hihi...

next stop, the Chapel on the Hill....i love the circular design and the open ceiling....

hmm... what should i hang here....

the floor is actually a circular labyrinth - a "journey to inner peace"... an excerpt of what's written outside the church on the very interesting concept of the labyrinth and how to move within the labyrinth can be found in this site.

the pathway leading to the church, guess what i'm putting here....
