my friend has been raving about these "panizza's" which you could just originally get from an italian resto in clark. and now that Focacia has opened at a.venue on makati ave, he dragged me to finally try it.
i usually equate pizza with "lamon": heavy, unhealthy eating. but these panizza's were actually very light, and depending on what you order, could be relatively healthy. we got the margherita and the quattro sorgento (with artichokes, olives, musrooms, ham and cheese sauce). they come in really thin strips of crust with arugula (and alfalfa sprouts usually, except they ran out last night) on the side. you put the veggies on your strip, roll it up and eat it! mmm...mmm... good! really good!
you HAVE to try them - and i'll go with you when you do - hehe :) i actually ate more than i thought i could. but i left just enough space for the "low-fat authentic italian gelati" - cappuccino and creme brulee. perfect way to end the meal :)
i hope they're not lying about the low fat....

Oooh! Panizza! Love em! Family and I go to Clark just to eat them. Makati ave is so much more convenient.
