some of the people in the hotel look like they came out of a magazine...

mod nature

hong kong island has one of my most favorite skylines...

i think it's the backdrop of the mountains, the foreground of water...

and the impeccable architecture (my fave being i.m. pei's hsbc)

in the same way, w's design is kinda like the skyline: natural with modern twists...

like these oddity sculptures:

horse made of speakers...

a pink flower?...

a white horse somewhere in the corner...

the column of eggs in the 'kitchen' where we have breakfast...

very dali-esque yes?

super cool hallway to our hotel room...

it has this grey-and-white library theme... (with matching lounge music)...

this is where the elevators are...

the ceiling...

outside each room is a faux opened book...

... for the do-not-disturb or please-make-up-room light...

it took me a good minute to find the elevator buttons... do ya see it?
