....there's nothing i can do, the solar eclipse of the heart.....hehehe :)
i'm sure everyone sang this song at some point today - while watching a phenomenon that does not happen very often. i remember though watching an eclipse through a negative film when we were kids, from mom and dad's balcony. do you remember that?
although today, we could only see a partial eclipse from manila, i went out into the terrace anyway, several times between 8:30am to 10:30am, armed with my cycling shades and my broken clavicle xray.
i tried to take a photo early into the eclipse, but all i got was a spot of light. haha. boo.
i decided to give it another try (after adjusting the camera several times) and got these towards the end of the eclipse... pretty cool i thought :)
but then i saw geekshowman's photo... (he's the one who told me about the eclipse, reminded me to see it, and helped me with the camera adjustments)...
my camera's zoom sucks! haha :) glad i saw it live though, and that i have a geeky friend :) hehe

yes i remember looking through negatives from mom's balcony!!!
i saw on the news how people flocked to shanghai to see the full eclipse, only to be greeted with a cloudy sky. gosh imagine the money they spent!!! i'm not sure i would have gone that far....
every now and then i get a little bit....
sad that it wasn't a total solar eclipse! when i was a kid i saw a total eclipse and when the moon blocked the sun it really turned gloomy and dark. i loved how it felt! like something super mysterious was going to happen. :)
