strolled around canal st. martin today... loved all the street art, and the artsy shops around :)
then made my way to the famous cemetery to pay my respects to the rock gods. haha. here is jim morrisson's tomb :)
then waited at the opera steps to meet with a friend for my best dinner ever - duck!!!

ooooh! confit de canard?
its not confit! i have never tasted duck cooked that way. its boneless fillets with fat around one edges and sort or seared/cooked like a medium rare steak, served with mashed potatoes and a mushroom cream sauce. YUM.
