i sea salt

yesterday, i had my last piece of chocolate covered dark caramel with sea salt. :(

i received a small box of this from friends half way around the world... what a treat.

i am now officially addicted to chocolate and/or caramel + sea salt.

the best combo, of course, is chocolate macaron + sea salt, which i had once in lusso.

die, die, die.

all chocolates should be sprinkled with sea salt, me thinks.

eye chocolate!!!

(hehe) i brought home a box of Royce Nama Chocolates from Hongkong during my last trip. it was supposed to be "pasalubong" for twinpopbro (and okay, mom, haha). well unfortunately, (or fortunately!), twinpopbro left for palawan for a few days, and came home to this....

hihihi. two pieces left. which means i kinda ate the whole box by myself (but in a span of a few days ha!). gross i know but i just LOVE Royce Nama! its like eating chocolate butter - its so light and it just melts in your mouth! zaza and i actually both got a box each from citysuper, and we opened her box of nama as soon as we got back to her flat. and we probably ate 4 squares each in one sitting, and just forced ourselves to stop. gross.

Royce' is actually made in Hokkaido, Japan; and still can't be bought here. so its a popular pasalubong from Hongkong and Singapore.

its probably my favorite chocolate.... that and GODIVA TRUFFLES!!!!

twinpopseattle's favorite pasalubong too! i just CANNOT stop eating them! each truffle is just too good, i can't even pick a favorite flavor. and when i saw godiva truffle cheesecakes at the cheesecake factory, i almost died!!! the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake was THE BEST! i don't think i ever ordered anything else after trying this: "Creamy Cheesecake with Chunks of White Chocolate and swirls of imported Seedless Raspberries throughout. Baked in a Chocolate Crust and finished with White Chocolate Shavings and Whipped Cream."

yummmmm.
