lately, we've been finding extra joy in looking at art for kids.

we caught the last day of the "we are not aimless" show at the manila contemporary art gallery.

it's a group show of illustrators. so cute.

my camera was dying (and we didn't stay for lunch) so i didn't get to take photos anymore... see heart2heart for more!

on our way home, i was on a repetitive pattern binge... so i snapped away.

hub: ummm, we're not in the tour anymore.

then, camera died.

haha!

berry cute

i know this show was about to end, and i couldn't let it pass without showing it to you.

it's by a very talented graphic artist/illustrator (i think) named luis lorenzana. it took him 3 years to finish this particular piece.

what i really really like are his drawings (he had more in the booklet).

this is the one i REALLY liked. (sold na though). i know the frame does a lot for it, but i'm loving the drawing, and the fact that the canvas was treated to look aged.

these 2 were the only ones not sold.

now i'm kinda tempted to get them since it's right up my campy/kitschy aesthetic.

but i think i like them only because i REALLY like his drawings.

note: seeds of strawberries are hearts :)

we were literally there for 5 minutes only so i really really want to go back!
