missed you at our annual support-the-sis bookfair...

(where i bought these half tagalog-half english books for our office library :)  what library?)

the highlight was eating in this resto after the visit...

i think it's a franchise from japan...

think japanese food meets italian...

there's pizza, pasta...

all pastas use only yummy san remo pasta...

some classic japanese dishes like tonkatsu and unagi...

this was one of the dishes we tried (it's like twinpophub's dream dish):  gyoza burger...

then, of course the dessert!!!

think crepes, cakes...

parfaits (with red bean ice cream)...

wish you were there!!!

a few days ago, twinpopbro and i tried out the new resto at trilogy on rada...

i like the feel of the cafe... it's very young & urban just like the store...

this is what i had: some seafood tomato pasta sumn sumn...

this is what he had: a shrimp alioli pasta sumn sumn...

for being the FIRST resto customers EVER, we got our dessert for free!

so yummy: frozen tapioca mango sumn sumn... totally our type!!!

let's go there soon -- even if just for the tapioca.

veggie resto + wine deli

we were able to eat in corner tree cafe... too bad you weren't there since i know you want to try it too... let's go back!

it's a cute lil charming place.

this is what twinpopbro had... it's some spinach egg cheese pot pie sumthn sumthn...

this is what i had... the japanese meal with mushroom and veggie maki with brown rice... miso soup.... and seaweed salad. yum!

shortly after that meal had a meeting in this place called alexa's in salcedo village.

they serve dean & deluca tea...

and it's part deli, part wine bar.

people in this office building are lucky to have this just below them... very ally mcbeal don't you think?

on our way down from antonio's, we saw this cool looking place.

i thought it was a furniture store, so i couldn't resist.

it turned out to be a filipino restaurant with a small gift shop in front.

i love how they fixed up the place!!!

the restaurant is owned by same owners of the boutique hotel nearby + barrio fiesta, etc...

let's eat there soon!

i've been eyeing these trees since last year...

saw them again at bonifacio high street.  

then i saw this new resto called "stock market".  was on a trial run.  

will open sept 22 -- let's try it!   i hope the food'll be as good as the place feels :)

on another note, i ate in La Regalade last night.  it's a new french bistro with a michelin-rated chef.

it's along pasay road.

it had some good, some not-so-good dishes...

i LOVED the manila clams (it had chorizo bits!).
