who knew i would see these HUGE snakes and end up eating "sawa na inadobo sa gata"- haha... quite good actually... yeah, tastes like chicken but with lots of bones like fish.... hmmm.....
by the way, you could also buy real snakeskin belts and snake oil for the skin at their souvenir shop too!
i figured i should try some other interesting thing since i was already there. i couldn't quite bring myself to order the sting ray (noooo!), and they ran out of eel, so i had "kalderetang kambing" instead...
i actually super enjoyed my meal and loved all the dishes i tried! very tasty! i ate quite a lot! had their "green leafy" steamed veggies (all my fave ones!) with bagoong and then mais con yelo which they strangely served with grated cheese on top. busog!
after a hearty meal, we decided to take a slow trip home, enjoying the scenic roads and stopping by a few sidestreet shops along the way....
wood crafts from paete...
mountains, rice fields, blue skies on both sides of the road....
rattan furniture....
i bought a rattan rocking horse for twinpopbabyniece - teehee :)
laguna bay...
i should do this more...
