japan town (or little tokyo?) always fascinates me...

it's a cross between japan and (red light) malate, i think...

we ate in this highly recommended yakiniku place where they serve wagyu, etc.  but since we're not really steak people, twinpophub had his usual yakitori and fried rice,

and i had grilled veggies (7 kinds from japan!  yum!) -- although the sauce seemed to have too much msg for my liking...

inside, it really feels like you're in japan... complete with a tv showing strange shows, waitresses speaking japanese, japanese customers and shoji rooms... except it just didn't feel as antiseptic as it normally should.
