first ladies exhibit

speaking of politics and exhibits, i forgot to show you what twinpopyale and i worked on while you were gone - the first ladies' exhibit at fort santiago :) it showed the photos, dresses of all our first ladies from Aguinaldo all the way to Estrada.

here are the photos of Aguinald and Laurel in black wooden frames against a striped fabric wall :)

here are Roxas's photos and her terno

Quirino's photo wall

among my favorite dresses were Magsaysay's Ramon Valera dresses. this one had a very interesting detail...

i loved Garcia's dresses with bustles, i thought they were the most regal-looking

this is the terno i would probably wear today :) i love the violet appliqued flowers on Macapagal's dress!

of course, there wouldn't be a first ladies' exhibit without Imelda's dresses - though we only included 2 here, same number as everyone else ;) here's here multicolored weave terno and the famous blue peacock terno by Joe Salazar.

fun project :)
