dogs in art or art in dogs?

haha! came across these cuties yesterday at serendra! coco the poodle and cooper the (fat) pomeranian :)





its very kawaii!!!

apparently the owner had it done in tiendesitas for about 1,000-1,500 and it lasts 6 months....hmmm.....i don't know if mountain dog luc can rock this look, but i like it :)

tripping in bataan

found myself with a few free days all of a sudden, and decided to go on a road trip to bataan, with luc in tow...

on the way to mariveles, we passed by sisiman - a quaint little fishing village that we used as a location for a teleserye i worked on a few years ago. i've never seen it from this view though....


or at this time of the day... pretty :)


i loved this lone tree up a hill in Sisiman. it looks like a tree that poets would write about...


it also could look like a scene from a creepy movie....


what to do in bataan? day one, hit the beach! we took a 20-minute boat ride to Lusong beach... where there are lots of coconuts and trees to chill at one of the huts....




day two: don't waste all that sunshine and blue skies! trek to papaya river on mt. tarak!


yes! i took luc trekking for a total of 5 and a half hours! and he was amazing!!! i never had to carry him, he navigated around the trails so well. he would walk way ahead of me but would stop every so often to look back and check if i was still there :) he's a natural! i was oh so proud of my little mountain dog :)

we finally reached papaya river! where he tried to swim too :)





on our way back down the trail, we stopped to take in the view from the mountain...


luc on the pretty grass trails near the bottom, walking and resting, and catching some sunlight through the trees...




that perfect day was ended with a perfect rainbow!



luc seemed to like the rainbow too....



or was it the carabaos? haha! his first encounter....

valentine's?

how was your love day?

well, what better way to spend it than with uber cute flowers,

and DIVINE truffles...

but in truth, my day was really more like this:

chips and wine (one of my fave combinations) -- this time, shrimp-chip pringles and sauvignon blanc...

all... by... myself.....

since my 3 valentines were knocked out.

new animals

just wanted to share with you some of our new furry/feathery friends in the house...

first, this gift i absolutely love. it's ceramic :) where to hang? (make one!!!)

second, this dog with rabies... paired with guy with pavlov's bell. it's lyle's sense of humor...

then, these flowers...

ok not new animals -- but new flowers for flower and belly :)

and in a few days, this bear :)

wiggy

twinpopbro met this little female lhasa on one of luc's walks. wiggy :) she lives down our street! just a few houses down at #24 :)


today i took luc there to meet her so they could mate. and they did! ang galing ni luc! haha :) here they are stuck together....


still stuck together but tired and thirsty....


awww....


luc was soooo tired after - when we passed a cat on the walk back home, he didn't even have the energy to bark or chase after it! aw :) and he lay on the garage floor as soon as we entered the gates. had to carry him up to the room. hee hee :)

i'm a proud mommy :)
